You can change the font in any part of Windows (for example, menus). Changing a Windows font does not change your program fonts.

Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Window Color and Appearance. If the Appearance Settings dialog box is not displayed, at the bottom of the page, click Open classic appearance properties.

Click Advanced.

In the Item list, click the part of Windows where you want to change the font. For example, if you want to change the menu font, click Menu in the list.

In the Font list, click the font you want to use.

In the Size list, click the font size that you want.

In the Color list, click the font color you want.

Repeat steps 3 through 6 for each part of Windows where you want to change the font, its size, and its color, and then click OK.How to change font on Windows vista?
You can make the text and other items, such as icons, on your screen easier to see by making them larger. You do this by increasing the dots per inch (DPI) scale. You can also decrease the DPI scale to make text and other items on your screen smaller, so that more information fits on the screen.

Right click on desktop and then Personalize.

In the left pane, click Adjust font size (DPI). If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

In the DPI Scaling dialog box, do one of the following:

To increase the size of text and other items on the screen, click Larger scale (120 DPI)搈ake text more readable, and then click OK.

To decrease the size of text and other items on the screen, click Default scale (96 DPI)揻it more information, and then click OK.

To see the changes, close all of your programs, and then restart Windows.
