How do I change font, layout, colours in my yahoo groups?

I would really like to ';Pimp'; my Yahoo Groups page, change the font colours, size %26amp; styles. Also if it's possible how do you change the layouts and Layouts color? HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. Here are the codes to change text color and size.



To change text color use this code %26lt;font color=';type in color here';%26gt; Where it says type in color here you can type red, blue or what ever color you want, there are also code numbers that can be used, but typing the color is better.



Note, you must use these brackets %26lt; %26gt; before and after each mark-up or the code won't work. To change text size use this code %26lt;font size=+1%26gt; or to use the shortcut tag, you would use %26lt;h1%26gt; or %26lt;h2%26gt;. The higher the number the bigger your text will be. Just another note, this is very important... If you change the text color of one word or a line or paragraph you must use what's called a closing tag. This is nothing more then an up-slash %26lt;/ then the code%26gt;



Just to explain this, your text tag will look like this %26lt;font color=';type in color here';%26gt; but when you want to change to another color you must first close that tag which looks like this. %26lt;/font color=';type in color here';%26gt; Notice the up-slah just after the first bracket %26lt;/ this closes that tag, then you can move on to your next tag. Like your font size, %26lt;h2%26gt; to close this tag it will look like this %26lt;/h2%26gt;. If you want to make your text bold, then you would use this tag %26lt;b%26gt; again, you must use a closing tag %26lt;/b%26gt; afterwards.



Just another note. Once you use HTML mark-ups and you want to drop down to another paragraph you need to use this tag %26lt;br%26gt; which stands for break. If you want to drop down 2 lines you will need to use two tags, like this %26lt;br%26gt;%26lt;br%26gt;



If you want to change the font style you would use this tag %26lt;font face=';Type in the name of the font you want here';%26gt; NOTE: again when using this tag and before you change to a new font, you must use the closing tag which would look like this %26lt;/font face='; Type in the name of the font you want here';%26gt; Notice the up-slash just after the first bracket %26lt;/



To change the layout color of your group click on [Managment] then on the next page click on [Description %26amp; Appearance] then scoll down to the bottom of the page, here you will see some color squars. Choose a color set or you can create your own layout.



If you want to make a line of words to scroll across the bottom of your page you will need to use this tag %26lt;marquee scrollamount=';3';%26gt; the number in the code is the speed of the scroll. The higher the number the faster your scroll will go. Again, if you need to add something else after your scroll, but don't want it to scroll, then you will need to use the closing tag, which will look like this %26lt;/marquee scrollamount=';3';%26gt;



Don't forget the break tag %26lt;br%26gt; when you want to drop down a line or two.
