How do I change font size on my laptop?

I have a toshiba tablet with windows vista and I can't seem to change the overall font size. My friend said you can't change the font size but that sounds a litte stupid for a brandnew computer. Can I change the font size? Thanks.How do I change font size on my laptop?

Do you really mean font size or do you mean display resolution?
Right click on desktop, Personalisation, At the side (Change Font Size)
